Well done to  Samantha Baker-Jones who now holds the U11 Girls Long Jump record with a leap of 3.41m at the Barnsley Open.  This has been held by Kath Coupland since 2003!

At the  June YAL at Jarrow a number of record performances to note.  A big well done to …

Molly Webster  for a new U15 Girls 800m club record of 2mins, 28.70secs. The previous record had stood since May 2008.

Douglas Ives, in his first appearance for Harrogate Harriers, set the U13 Boys 75m Hurdles record of 15 secs. The previous record had stood since June 2007.

Sydney King not only won her events with Personal Best times, but also made National Grade standards 1 and 2 - rare achievements. If that wasn’t enough, Sydney also took the Club Record for the U13 Girls 70m Hurdles in a time of  12.4 secs which has been held by Caroline Lambert since 2006.

At the May YAL at South Leeds Claire Jones equalled the U13 Girls Long Jump Record of 4.20m which has been held by Grace Chattaway since 2003 !
